Board MembersBob SharpeBob graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Theatre Arts and Education. He has thirty years of college, regional and community theatre design and performance experience. Lisa WoodwardLisa has loved theater since she was a small child. She joined OCP for the first time for our production of South Pacific, where she played a nurse. She has also performed in The Music Man as Eulalie McKeckney Shinn and in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcot as a Narrator. Lisa has twenty-five years of performance, directing and technical theatre experience and has been instrumental helping OCP behind the scenes as a costumer. She is the owner of Tasteful Demonstrations and is a Professional Food Demonstration Specialist and Private Culinary Instructor. She also homeschools her eleven year old daughter Michaela. Deryl McGuireDeryl is a retired Secondary Theatre Arts teacher and has served on numerous theatre boards, as well as the SETC, NCTC, and ITS. She co-wrote original curriculum and certification requirements for NC Secondary Theatre Arts teachers. She has directed and participated in several OCP productions. Judy RootJudy has loved attending live theatre prodcutions from an early age. As a child she used to pull the neighborhood kids together to put on "plays" for the neighborhood parents. It was not until she joined with OCP that she attempted to be part of a real theatre production. She has performed in three previous OCP productions. She serves as the Treasurer for OCP. Her daughter, Amanda, assisted with scenery painting for last summer's production and is currrently the Scenic Artist for Bye Bye Birdie. Amy JohnsonAmy holds a Bachelor of Music in Education and Music Therapy from East Carolina University. She has performed in numerous community theatre groups and choirs and has been employed as a music therapist, band director, choir director and orchestra director. Currently Amy homeschools her sons and teachers Shakespeare to middle and high school students. Alicia CurtisAlicia is currently an instructor at To The Pointe Dance Academy. She has over ten years of dance training and experience, which she utilizes on behalf of OCP. Stacey CurelopDavid is a graduate of the NC School of the Arts with a BFA Degree in Design. He is an integral part of OCP productions, though he is rarely seen on stage. Wayne LeonardWayne is a faculty member in the Orange County School system and is also a musician. He has performed in and directed several OCP productions. Michael GayMichael has enjoyed playing a variety of roles in musicals and theatre productions throughout elementary, high school and college. He and his children have performed in two previous summer productions and truly enjoy participating as a family. Michael currently serves as Webmaster for OCP.
